   Agree with English to a certain extent, but it is continuously changing over the years. History is “reported” as seen through the eyes of the writer. That something actually happened is fact. However, the cause and effect is in the eyes of the beholder and may be seen differently by others. Also, in some cases, the "victor"gets to (re)write history. Psychology is subjective and guess work based on some groups of peoples’ behavior, it is not cut and dried as mathematics per se. Most social studies are subjective.

   BTW, original work need not have citations unless you are actually using something written by someone else. Plus, depending on the topic, referencing another’s work (with citation) or basing one’s work from what they learned in a “classroom” will be subjective because the original work was based on someone’s point of view – again, when it comes to topics like Mathematics, most work is pretty cut and dried as 1+1=2 will always be the same in our world – I know there will be the occasional oddball who will disagree, but that does not change the accepted fact.

Bring of two ethnicities, I’ve heard plenty those type of names. What is ironic, is one ethnicity used those labels on other ethnicities. In general, most ethnics just ignored it. It was more common pre-WWII, where your best companion was in a foxhole was one of those ethnics, but by the time the “Boomers” grew up, those slurs became much less common.
