i had five foot fence around my garden, and when out one morning to water. i had plants in pots, and had experimented with a hanging tomato plant gadget. all the tomato plants had been nipped off, and at first i thought perhaps bunnies, but then i noticed the hanging tomato plant was also missing tomatoes. i then saw the hoofprints around the pots. okay, they got in (at the time i assumed deer needed a bit of takeoff space) but how did they get out? fast forward a couple of years, had a maple tree surrounded by again, five foot fence, but the enclosed area couldn’t have been more than four feet on each side. saw a deer in there, munching on the maple leaves, so i went out to see if i could discourage it from doing any more damage. took one look at me, and sailed effortlessly across the fence with a standing leap. after that, that solved the mystery of how the deer got out of my garden. now trying to figure out how to keep them out, as i would like another garden. suggestions??
new jersey as well. all those contractors that he wouldn’t pay for doing work on his casinos. the man who taught bruce springsteen to play guitar recently died, and the asbury park press reported that tRump had purchased several thousand dollars worth of pianos from him, and only offered him 70 cents on the dollar. article didn’t say if he took the offer. but yes, we were/are aware of his thefts, among other things. sadly, in ocean county, where i live, he got the majority vote.
