When we lost power here a couple of years ago, I had to sacrifice my diet by eating 3 pounds of thawing coated shrimp I had just bought at Costco. They weren’t cheap and I wasn’t about to lose them. I almost could hear my arteries clogging up. LOL
Food for thought. Even though my parents wanted their estate divided into equal parts for us children, it got complicated. Because my oldest brother pre deceased my remaining parent, my state required that his portion of the estate to be awarded to his kids. Fortunately the kids did not contest my parents intent. But there were legal fees involved in having the estate lawyers writing letters to each of the kids to get their rights dismissed. Oy, lawyers always win something out of estate stuff.
Or until the sharpener cavity filled up.
