Got a letter this morning from NHS Cymru with an appointment for a booster on Wednesday. I’ll be there. Got my flu jag at the local pharmacist a few weeks ago. But even when I’m fully boosted, I’ll still be playing safe. Masks in all public indoor spaces, minimising contact,( no visits to cinemas, theatres or nightclubs – do I like like an idiot!)

Thankfully in the UK we still have a free health service, albeit one that has been underfunded for years, but our crazed and corrupt government want to sell it off cheap to their friends and create a system as bad as the USA.

You could just try using less oil? Zero-carbon future? Plenty of open space in the US in sunny areas for vast solar panel fields.

The Eastern US is currently affected by an outbreak of ‘17 year cicadas’ – insects which only hatch en masse every 17 years.

“Cicadas do not bite and are harmless to humans and property — other than being a nuisance. They may amass in vast numbers in parks, wooded areas, neighborhoods and can seemingly be everywhere. When they are this abundant, they fly, land and crawl everywhere, including occasionally landing on humans.”https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Periodical_cicadas

My cats normally have no difficulty throwing up the mouse they’ve just eaten without outside help. Usually on the carpet.
