Thank you again for keeping up with the “days”. I do love starting this day with your list. Will try later to see if dbrucepm will add his or if maybe today’s strip gets uploaded. Have a great Sunday.
Happy Birthday! A member of the gym turned 90 yesterday. He is still doing a lot of classes & not the Silver Sneakers. I heard he did 110 pushups before his first class. He is an inspiration to all the rest of us. I turn 77 in March & want to celebrate 90 at the gym like he did..
Midnight wouldn’t let anything put on him except his collar. He was thrilled with that from day 1 and was upset when had to take it off to change the tags or replace it when it got ragged and waited impatiently until it was back on. The only other thing- my husband had to wear a bow tie for a job (he was a musician. He had the kind that had a ribbon that went around his neck. One night Midnight was on the bed when he took it off, so it put the tie around Midnight’s neck, That thrilled the cat & he proudly lifted his head for photos. Screamin’ would wear things on his head. But would sometimes balance an empty soda can on his head & he did that willingly also hats etc., but nothing else. Boots wouldn’t wear anything except the collar & I don’t think she was totally happy with that.
I mostly have blinds, but in the study -computer room, i did get a small curtain the sort of valence kind. I didn’t have a rod, so I got a tension one. each cat tried to climb the curtain & it fell rod & all. I had a cat window seat under it, so no injuries ever, but nobody climbed or shredded it.
My husband was a musician on the Delta Queen (banjo & guitar) and I got to go with him at least once a year for the first 10,years of our marriage (then he retired & we moved from New Orleans to Florida). The boat stopped often at Cape Giradeau so I got to see it a few times.
In Central Florida the past few days, it’s been in the low 40’s. For me that IS chilly. Supposed to do down to the 30’s in a few days as that front comes through.
My prayers are with her.
