This is where semantics can distort almost any comment. 19 deaths have been attributed to the use of Tesla’s Autopilot technology (https://www.tesladeaths.com). Are you saying that 19 deaths are “insignificant”? That those human lives are nothing more than the cost of doing business and should therefore be treated as just numbers in a ledger along with all the other profits and losses? Is this characterization on my part “sensationalism” or is yours ”cold hearted”? I agree that the technology still needs work, I just don’t feel that people should be killed or injured as part of Tesla’s real-world beta testing.
