That’s a cat. Not something with the name Cat. By this logic you would have to include all the cats (I mean the animal) in Philadelphia.

Okay. It’s more or less pronounced that way, but the word is actually “Balk”.

There was an old story called “Who Works” (hard to find on Google because of the way it interprets Who). I don’t remember how the whole story goes, but the gist is that it starts out with the number of people employed then goes through various reasons to remove some. The last bit of it goes something like “it comes down to just you and me. And I’m not so sure about you.”

Interesting that he uses the word “College” since he’s going to university. Guess its a concession to American readers because from what I understand, in the US, the terms “College” and “University” interchangeable. In Canada, the two are very differnent.

Sure. Throw Berle under the bus. (Not that he doesn’t deserve it).

I believe she stands on a stool.

But that’s different. Charlie Brown has someone else to blame. Agnes can blame no one but herself.

And Luann is somewhere in between. The characters do age, but not in real time.

The wheels on the bus go round and round…

I remember finding the David Lynch film confusing (even though I had read the book at least twice by then). The TV miniseries was good. I’ve watched the first half of the current movie and although I have the second half, I haven’t got around to watching it yet.
