   ejcapulet - consider for a moment how concerned you are with the way you look, and how everyone else seems to look better in your opinion. Now consider that everyone else is doing that too. You’re their person who looks better and they look terrible.

   I don’t know why women do this. Oh, men do as well, but not to any comparable degree.

   But - some people do objectively look better in dimmer hues as bright white will bring out skin anomolies in people with reddish or fair skin (You’d think it wouldn’t) or will be too much contrast for people with quite dark brown skin

   OH right, the comic. It sucks.

   Yes but the writer is insinuating that we release our pent up bob stories - presumably at Bob’s we aren’t so fond of. I happen to know of a Bob who dates a transvestite shaman witch-doctor android. Also, this android believes him to be explosive, hence the attraction. That same Bob is also cheap… and buys only drinks when taking it out to dinner.

   It is supremely unfortunate that she didn’t use “Daves” instead of Bob’s as I could then have simply posted this in response: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmQRmHgExV0

   FLS - that was brilliance. A more apt comparison does not exist. I challenge anyone to top it.

   I should really stick to Quigmans… I can see that were I to read this strip I could easily come unglued.
