   I got nostalgic for waffles a few months ago, so I got out my waffle iron. I had forgotten how long it takes to make a batch of waffles! Now I remember why I hadn’t made them in years! I’m ready to give away my waffle iron now.

   That’s just it R_Noonan63: we, the commenters suggested mice to Scott, but it’s never come up in the strip. Haiku has never suggested he eat anything but hay.

   Sorry Haiku Ewe I’m siding with poor Scott here. His species needs meat.

   Love all the farm animals in their celebratory hats! And I love the fowl looking for… er, Scott’s snack.

   Okay, now, Haiku and Lionel, you go rest next to that guy with the crook. And Scott… hmm… well, maybe go position yourself near the feet of the mom there. (Look closely at the feet on most Virgin Mary statues and you’ll see she’s stepping on a serpent - as in crushing Original Sin.)

   I think I have to echo the poster who said it last week: Scott is quickly becoming my favorite character.

    Good for Heart’s mom for trying to teach her daughter at a young age how to properly behave in restaurants. It’s a great lesson for kids. Now whether or not Heart will actually learn that lesson is another question altogether.
