My friend/mentor John Cowart. Six-five in height, 300 pounds-plus in weight. Guy in a BMW cuts so close to pedestrian John, that John thumps his car with a fist. Guy skids to a stop, jumps out, and starts pacing towards John. Clinched fists, scowl. Says, “You son of a b——! You son of a b——!” Closing in now, ready to attack. “You great, big, giant son of a b——!” Runs back to his car and drives off. RIP, John.
I think a more effective protest would be a sit-in/camp-in against the United States sending arms to Israel. The United States can let Iran and others know Israel will be defended — and let Israel know the U.S. is now defending the innocents of Gaza

I like the black and whiteness of this. I love seeing Wiley’s line work, and I’m grateful for Calvin & Hobbes in black and white. ‘ wish they didn’t colorize Peanuts.
I’m curious: What would make your editor toss the Camus citation? Also, I appreciate your art, humor and willingness to walk us a bit closer to the boundaries than most
@John9 I cannot imagine what it is to have a wife die, but I can easily imagine 11 weeks later being completely okay with the whole place going kaboom. I am sorry for your loss, and I wish you well on the journey ahead.
“There are at least two kinds of games. One could be called finite, the other infinite. A finite game is played for the purpose of winning, an infinite game for the purpose of continuing the play.”
