: I keep a couple of shopping bags open around the place so kitty can go in and peek out when she wishes. I had another cat who has since gone to the Rainbow bridge. I would tell her to go get in her bag, and she would…then turn around to see what was going on. She was pretty smart, too. >^..^<
: Thanks for the link about Willie which explains a lot… (but not his color change) Some time ago, I went to the start of “Breaking Cat News” and read all the way to the present. It’s a favorite of mine. Happy July Fourth! =^..^=
After my precious went to the Rainbow Bridge from end stage Renal Disease, I cried for 3 days. I held her at the end. She came to me in a dream and told me to get another cat. That made me feel much better. I found a senior cat whose “Mommy” had to surrender to a shelter. The woman went into a nursing home and couldn’t take her. Fortunately, I was able to talk to her and her daughter. (The daughter had a debilitating and couldn’t care for her.) They are both so happy that the cat has a loving home…she will be around 15 in Sept. She is very definitely a lap cat. So there are reasons for having to surrender a pet. I have wanted to take her to visit her Mommy but there has been an outbreak of COVID here at the Wrinkle Farm/Storage bin, so will wait till that’s over.
: I loved Rock Hudson…sigh. Elaine Stritch told about falling in love with Rock Hudson when she saw him coming down a curved staircase in in a tux. (She was involved with Ben Gazzara at the time. See her “Elaine Stritch At Liberty.” =^..^=
So glad to know you are still alive! I was really worried. Cheers. >^..^<
