This harkens back to that simpler time when all we had to worry about were the “reds”. (Back then, reds were commies rather than Republican-voting states.)
So, is the Blue Circle really Enron, Bernie Mader, Lehman Brothers or Baskin-Robins? I just can’t tell. (And yes, I still drink Ovaltine and read Little Orphan Annie.)
If Grimm doesn’t get a part in a movie for his great acting, maybe he’ll at least get a part in a comic strip. Oh, wait, he’s already done that…
Thanks. The story fits together much better after viewing last Sunday’s strip. And, as it turns out, the nasty chemical did originate in a Warbuck’s factory. Quite a revelation.
Finally, last Sunday’s strip (which was really supposed to run tomorrow) makes sense. I wish GoComics would fix their mistake so we could go back and see what really happened last Sunday.
Wrong comic Sunday, eh? That explains a lot of things, like the unannounced reappearance of Grimm. Where, online, can a person find the “right” Annie for 2/7?
“Leapin’ Lizards.” I’ve always loved that line.
