You must be in the upper midwest! Literally 84° here in MN Monday, mid 50s today, back to 70s this weekend. As a professional gardener I appreciate the extended season for working, but at the same time I’d like to be DONE. It can snow any time, thank you!
We sold my childhood home last fall. The people who bought it were the young neighbors from across the street with 3 kids (and I don’t think they’re done having kids), moving from a 3BR to a 5BR. They wanted whatever we were going to leave. We didn’t leave them with too much “stuff,” but it was such a blessing to not have to move out the furniture that Mom didn’t take to her 1BR apartment, or that the grandkids didn’t want. Mom had lived there 59 years!
I’m the youngest of 7. I can totally relate to April, esp because the first 6 were born within 7 years, and then 5 years later I came along. They all had built-in playmates. I was the tagalong.
THere’s always time to help Mom and Dad when they ask.
