I don’t think it was supposed to represent any specific event; it was meant to be a single image that without question represented something you’d watch on TV in the mid-1960’s. Since so many here thought “Beatles on Ed Sullivan” then it worked perfectly. The point of this panel was to show that, even after you adjusted the horizontal and vertical holds properly, you still had to adjust the antenna. And notice that there is some “snow” on the image, which may not be possible to remove. The point being that people had to put up with a lot more inconveniences to watch TV 50 years ago.

I think a local news station would refer to the ballpark as “Citizens’ Bank Park,” or even, “the Bank,” rather than “the Phillies’ Stadium.”

Cap, glasses, and the laid back attitude! His “expression” reminds you of Knute. We need to see Knute again.

It’s his eyes and glasses! I can’t believe how much he looks like Schulz and yet in the style of Big Nate, as well.

The bubble wrap is genius! But why the picture of his family?

Thank you! I had no idea what Rose was saying. However, online dictionaries do give “chateaus” as a plural form of chateau, so she’s technically not wrong. And Wallace understood her! (I’ve seen English/French signs in Maine, so maybe they’re common in Rhode Island, as well.)

    With a cord, yet!

Wallace has the proper equipment for clamming in New England. That’s a clam rake. It takes a bit of talent to recognize when you’ve hit a clam and then flip it into the basket.

That would be a quahog hole!

Exactly! Find a leaf, or a twig, or a bubble gum wrapper. There must be something handy that can be used to mark her place.
