   Congress abdicating its power has been going on for the last several administrations. At least as far back as Obama and probably further. The problem is that it’s easier for Congress to do nothing than to do their job.

   I’m not a Republican or a Democrat because neither party gives a darn about you or me. All they care about is being in power and keeping the other side down. That’s no way to run a government.

   ACA wasn’t rammed through? They had to bribe multiple Democratic Senators to break the filibuster and then once the filibuster was broken, they removed all of the things they had promised them. I live in one of the states that the Senator got bribed and he didn’t get reelected because of it, so don’t tell me it wasn’t rammed through.

   I agree that presidents shouldn’t be legislating by executive order, but it started before Trump. He’s just taken it to the extreme.

   Apparently, we’ve all forgotten about the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) and the last Covid relief bill. Those were both rammed through by Democrats. Not a comment on if either were good/bad, just a couple of examples.
