   I had a freshman science teacher do that and I was generally in one of the first five to eight chairs, but our class basically made it a contest! We STRUGGLED/FOUGHT over the first chair all the time! The flunkies, no offense Earl, made it a joke to see who got the last chair to mock us smarties! Jr High was so great!

   Isn’t it interesting how we hated having assigned seats in grade school, we always thought we should be able to sit where we wanted to whenever. Now that I’m in college, we sit in the same spot every day, sometimes by ppl we don’t even like! But we continue to sit there, as if we were trained that way or something!!

   How do we know that this cartoonist is implying God speaking, isn’t St. Peter or someone at the gates? It could very possibly be him.

   You hit the nail on the head, John!! My man has a crazy lady and i swear she sits up and thinks that exact same thing!! I only wish he could taser her psycho @$$!!! All he does now is IGNORE every call/txt and she just IGNORES any hint of dismiss!!! You could write the next one around what his current girlfriend is dreaming of doing to that blonde!!! :D

   I like the optimistic view on that near death experience, john, you could have looked at it from a pessimist view and gave the drunk pilot credit for ‘almost killing us’ rather than ‘i saved us’
