   Happy mother’s day – in Britain they actually changed it to “Mothering Sunday” during WWII in recognition of all the women who were such role models and took care of everything while the men went to war – this included both those who didn’t have children and those who had children in the war whether they lost them or not. It’s a nice sentiment, and should be more prevalent!

    Hi Mark, thanks for replying – for sure it could be good for improving the younger readership (TBH that’s always a good thing) but what really got a lot of people – your dedicated fan base – hooked on Heart was the minimalistic (and efficient) way you conveyed meaningful stories… I think we were all also kind of intrigued to see where you were taking this grown-up Heart arc “a la For Better or For Worse” – but thank you for making such an enjoyable strip! I think I’ll be taking a longer look at Lio now.
