   Actually, that has happened… Viagra was originally developed as a hypertension drug, but initial testing revealed a VERY interesting side-effect and as they say – “the rest is history”. And, I might add, a very profitable outcome.

   Actually Blanche, spiders (like snakes) are not poisonous – they’re venomous. Very few species represent a threat to us via their bite. And yes, without our favourite web-builders, we wouldn’t be able to move for the millions of insects out there… Plus, they work cheap! Please don’t squish…

    Yep… we had a wholesale sales tax – the rate varied on various items – it was a nightmare to manage. Then, it was replaced by the GST (Goods & Services Tax). Levied at 10% on most goods and services. Some exclusions – particularly most basic food items – but seems to work moderately well. NOT over popular, but what are you gonna do? Governments have to get cash from somewhere and hitting the big end of town seems, for some obscure reason, to be too hard… Come the revolution, Comrade…
