    A lot of us are antique’s ourselves, wood bats were all there was !! And it was “friction tape” that was used to repair a slightly cracked bat, it was sticky on both sides and improved your grip on the bat. … (stickier on one side, than the other) ….. us “old fa*ts” know about this….
