   That’s kind of low even for Poncho. And I agree with the poster above. Poncho likely reuses the same toothpick as often as he can get away with before replacing it with a new one.

   We’d sit in the way-back of the station wagon and wave at people behind us. Most people waved back in the city; especially at red lights. A surprising number of people, considering the speed limits in the 60’s, waved back on the highway too.

   Yes, the jump seats stayed closed. Did anybody ever actually use those?

   I’ve always been of the opinion that Alice and Beni are destined to be together.

   I think that Nara and Dill would make a lovely couple. Dill can appreciate a fine, duck-shaped potato and he’s obviously caught Nara’s eye.

   Here in PA too. But on occasion, usually to confuse/amuse 5 year old kids, I’ve been known to pronounce them ba-log-na and la-sag-na.

    Poncho! Look online. I’m sure that someone (Temu or ACME, probably) sells a rechargeable, stick warmer. If you had one of those you’d be the King of the Cafe.
