And the dragon is actually a banker, making loans, paying interest, protecting other people’s gold. You’d be stealing from other people like yourselves, not some fabulous monster.

Not that stealing from fabulous monsters is a good thing, either.

There would have been disadvantages to being born in any age that I can think of. On the whole, being born in the 1950s hasn’t worked out too badly.

Of course, for all I know, waiting until the 2950s might have been a good move, but I’ll never know now.

Well, someone had to Google or Wikipediafy this. From Wikipedia.

American Charles Osborne (1894–1991) had hiccups for 68 years, from 1922 to 1990, and was entered in the Guinness World Records as the man with the longest attack of hiccups, an estimated 430 million hiccups. In 2007, Florida teenager Jennifer Mee gained media fame for hiccuping around 50 times per minute for more than five weeks. British singer Christopher Sands hiccupped an estimated 10 million times in a 27-month period from February 2007 to May 2009. His condition, which meant that he could hardly eat or sleep, was eventually discovered to be caused by a tumor on his brain stem pushing on nerves causing him to hiccup every two seconds, 12 hours a day. His hiccups stopped in 2009 following surgery.

That last one might give Monty the most reason to worry.

I wonder if anyone has speed winking contests. What is the record for fastest wink?

He could save on his monthly bills by getting rid of his phone service, but he’d miss the extra opportunities for being rude to people.

Engineer. My 0.79 liter coffee mug has 0.34 liters of coffee, and 0.055 liters of cream. Also 3 grams of sugar.

Yes, let’s not worry about how they describe us, or whether they might have a point.

Don’t worry, hon. We’ll get a little tofu and eggplant pizza just for you.

People who believe in a God who answers prayers sometimes say that he will give you what you need rather than what you want. I think Rat needs to see other people succeed in spite of him.

You have to admit that it’s making all the difference.
