imitations are better than the real thing all the time, synthetic diamonds are stronger and more reflective than natural ones, many kinds of artificial flavors are more consistent than natural ones, and I’m betting you would take any apple grown on a farm run by humans than one from a wild tree

maybe they could have just made a generic team hoodie without the “LIX” on the sleeves? I’m actually shocked they wasted that much money producing those considering how frugal their team owner is…

before the invention of modern water treatment alcohol was really the only way to sterilize a drink, wine or beer was the best way to hydrate without worrying about having the runs the next day

Godzilla is a metaphor for nuclear war or massive natural disasters, so of course he’s would never target people specifically

hmm, 1995, I think that’s about the time that the comic bubble popped, or was getting close to it. I remember when I was 10 (when this comic came out) there was a comic store on every other block, a year or two later most of them were gone, and I had to get a subscription to the comics I collected because there was nowhere to actually buy them in person. Now there is literally only one comic store in the entire Bronx, and I’m sure to visit it as often as I can and buy from it to ensure it stays supported and open, like the last healthy flower from a failed garden.
