Many of the Washington coast beaches are very firm and drivable, and they’re actually legally classified as highways. They’re closed during certain seasons to protect razor clams, but when they’re open they can be pretty busy. (It’s kind of scary on foggy days – you never know when some yahoo will come speeding down the strand, ignoring the 25 mph speed limit!)
Actually, Morse Code is a three-state thing. The pause between dots and dashes can be short or long, too, to indicate the beginning and end of individual characters and words.
Taking a closer look at August 2, Kandikane already has a bag with a purple strap slung across her shoulder in panel 2, with the separate brown bag in the foreground. What’s going on?
So in the August 1 comic, there are three bags visible in the first panel. Two are purple, one is brown. When Kandikane leaves in the August 2 comic, she’s carrying a purple one in the third panel, with a brown one prominently shown in the foreground in the second panel. Are we looking at colorist confusion, or does she even have the contraband?
