I guess we still don’t know what sport the girls are training for. The suspense is killing me. And speaking of killing, I’d kill for an ice cold Hoo Dad’s Root Beer® today. It’s going to be 96 degrees by the time I finish my round of golf today.

That thing Luke is standing on is a cart path. The carts should be on it if the golfers driving them are “meeting on the green.” Luke looks like he is taking the club too far back for a putter; maybe he’s just off the green and is getting ready to hit a flop shot. Regardless, why is he talking in the middle of his backswing? Even if it’s a practice swing, you don’t want to encourage your playing partners to be talking to you at this time by asking them questions.

Looks like Mitch could benefit from switching from booze to Hoo Dad’s Root Beer®, as could everyone.

I had an instructor who made hitting my back with the club on the follow through a swing thought so that I’d finish my swing properly. BTW, that’s not the backswing; the backswing is where you take the club away from the ball. We appear to have missed the end of Mimi’s tee shot and start of her approach shot. If she’s hitting five iron into the green on “one of the longest par fours out here,” she had a monster drive or the rest of the par fours are pretty short.

All you math whizzes out there, help me figure out what combination of at bats and hits you’d need to have a .751 batting average. I get .750, but .751. It seems like you’d need an enormous number of at bats to pick up that one extra point.

For those keeping score at home, the last strip that was not directly about sports was May 25.

As did I regarding Rod not coloring the strip.

Remember: It’s the colorist who inks these strips, not Whigham. I’m more concerned by the faces in P2. I rarely think I could draw as well as Whigham, but this is one of those times. At least Mopman is at the top of his game. Look at the shine on that floor in P2!
I don’t know what they’re eating, but no one has any silverware at their placesettings.
