This isn’t really a joke. More of a casual semi-witticism that might be uttered by anyone in this situation without the expectation that anyone might laugh in repsonse. Why does this merit a comic strip? What is the point?
Okay, here’s my idea of how to make an “out-of-body-experience” Halloween costume. Get some meat and cover your “real” body with it, to show that the corporeal is mundane. Then get a little flashlight, put it on a stiff wire, and put the wire on a collar so as to suspend it above your head, to signify your momentarily-displaced spirit.
