I’m no fan of Julian Assange but I watched the video of the helicopter assault on the civilians and the Reuters reporter and camera man again yesterday. This video included comments by Ethan McCord, a soldier to responded to the attack and attempted to rescue one of the children who died in the attack. The Army classified the video to cover up its involvement in the murder of Iraqi civilians. No surprise there.
Governments destroy their own soldiers when they send them off to war, involve them in massacres and then cover up the crimes. It happens in every war, every army.
And Ukraine is getting weapons, not cash. Many of those weapons are near their expiration date and sending them to fight Putin’s war of aggression will allow American manufacturers to replace those weapons made in the US of A.
Violent rhetoric leads to actual violence.
