Just so you know, you’re arguing about different things. You responded to “gender norms”. If you look for that, you get a bunch of different pages about it. Wiki calls it gender roles, but it’s this page, not what you linked: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gender_role . Your link is about neither gender nor norms.

Back in 2010, a random guy on a park bench told his pup that 50 pounds wasn’t a lap dog. Luckily, Nate was there to assure Louie that 87 still is. Looks like Nate needs to have a talk with the captain.I still have that comic clipped and hanging up in the dog food cabinet.

They are where the lion’s share of my charity dollars go, as well. Great organization.

Poor girl – I’d adopt you if I lived in comic world! We recently adopted a mastiff puppy rescued from a puppy mill that was about to put him down. He is truly one of the sweetest dogs you could ever imagine. I will continue doing my part to save them all.

This is likely the shortest turnaround time on a comic strip I have ever seen. That’s been like three days, right?

I’m old enough that I didn’t need Google, and yes, it is funny.

His great great grandfather gave it to him – how long ago was that, since he’s been a vampire for centuries? That is one old bank!

This story line is highly annoying. Olongapojoe and Mourdac hit on two key problems. Of course the salespeople aren’t going to have a copy of the formula – it would make no sense. Of course the drug is already patented – the other companies would get more info out of the pills than a one sheet about it, but it does them no good to reverse engineer it as it is patented.I just want this story line to go away, but I wasn’t around during the initial run. I hope that it doesn’t all end after this story.

Panel 2 is not a good look for Norm, especially with the breath mints.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure the pendulum has swung entirely the other way at this point. Mimes are a minor annoyance, clowns seem to be terror inducing. I blame Tim Curry and Stephen King for putting the final nail in that coffin, although it had been drifting that way for a while.
