This guy is always yelling at Fred. Whoever is writing Fred Basset now needs to start being nicer. The writer is also writing Fred as being too grouchy to Jock and Yorky, too. Lighten up, buddy.
If you’re younger than late 60s or 70s, then this probably doesn’t mean anything to you. It’s a spoof of the Victrola ad where the dog is sitting in front of a Victrola record player. I loved it!
You don’t get the gist of this comic, at all. It’s a play on clichés, not dead animals on the roadways. It’s hilarious how Bucky always does this.
