You haven’t lived until you’ve worked in a monkey colony. The walls used to crawl with roaches at night; they thrived on the spilled monkey chow. Nobody was doing anything so I went to the library and found that the Navy had the same problem aboard submarines. They and other researchers learned that boric acid powder was the most effective blatticide and was also non-toxic to other animals (and us). I ordered some and put together a powder sprayer. On weekends I dosed the animal areas. The staff was overjoyed and folks stopped finding bugs in their desk drawers. You can get it a most drug stores. Sprinkle it in dry areas where roaches have been seen. Should help.
