   May 31: “A Tesla shareholder filed a lawsuit on Thursday accusing CEO Elon Musk of insider trading when he sold over $7.5 billion of shares of the electric car maker in late 2022, saying the billionaire entrepreneur sold the shares before potentially disappointing production and delivery numbers were made public.” He has also regularly posted on social media about how great Tesla was doing when he knew, due to his position, that bad news was coming. I consider these to be the acts of a conman. This shareholder lawsuit is the tip of a very large iceberg imho. I would be very interested to know what he “promised” Vanguard so that they would vote for his definitely undeserved $49billion payout.

   The owners I know really like the car, which means the engineers and entrepreneurs — NOT Musk, who bought in late and had nothing to with design or technology — knew what they were doing. Musk, he’s just another con man, born on third base and convinced that he hit a triple.
