Others have mentioned that Cho reprinted the strip in a series of comic books, with a new ending in a “Wedding Album” where Brandy left with Frank instead of Roger. I haven’t found it online yet.

“.. maintaining a respectful environment has become increasingly difficult ..”
“.. GoComics uses an outdated commenting tool that lacks the capability to effectively moderate the comments and ensure compliance with the site’s commenting policy.”
“.. we hope to reinstate comments in 2025 with an improved commenting platform.”
Hey, they “hope to reinstate comments in 2025 with an improved commenting platform” because the current one cannot “effectively moderate the comments”, so next year you can go back to, uh, wait a minute, I just read between the lines.
Only from the Political Cartoons. Because “maintaining a respectful environment has become increasingly difficult given the divisive nature of certain topics”. And they “hope to reinstate comments in 2025 with an improved commenting platform” because the current one cannot “effectively moderate the comments”.

From John Lennon’s 1980 Playboy interview, published as a paperback book in 1981:
Playboy: .. “Happiness Is a Warm Gun”?
Lennon: Me completely.
Playboy: And it’s not about drugs?
Lennon: No. A gun magazine was sitting around and the cover was a picture of a smoking gun. The title of the article, which I never read, was “Happiness Is a Warm Gun.” I took it as the idea of happiness after having shot somebody. Or some animal.
Playboy: It wasn’t a sexual thing? "When I hold you .. "?
Lennon: Oh, well, by then I’m into double meanings. The initial inspiration was from the magazine cover. But that was the beginning of my relationship with Yoko …
So no, not about drugs. People looked for a lot of “hidden meanings” in The Beatles’ songs, which were not intended. Remember all that nonsense about “Paul is dead!” ?
