Maybe they could send a message back with an African Swallow hauling a coconut for Monty Python’s next skit.

What do they not charge you for at the Doc’s office? I especially love the paper gowns - now for the women it is just a half gown and a paper sheet slightly larger than the size of a napkin. I am sure that shows as a huge expense!

I watched my mother but butter on everything she ate (even the heavily sugar frosted breakfast rollsI and she fried everything she didn’t put butter on - as a result her weight went up, she got diabetes, heart attacks and died of kidney failure. I learned from watching her and her brothers and sisters to cook with little or no grease and use butter substitute sparingly. Before became disabled used to exercise too.

@Earl Walsh not everyone who does not have health insurance eats like there are no consequences. I can only get a very basic insurance because of previous conditions and the medications I take. My back causes me so much pain I can’t work added to the fatigue syndrome and depression it makes my life a misery but I can’t afford the treatments to make it better since just basic insurance is over $300 a month. I take vitamins, natural supplements and cook low fat; although I can’t really exercise, I have lost 20 lbs.

Just saying - insurance has nothing to do with how people eat. Have seen plenty of working people with insurance provided through work who eat like that. One does not necessarily have anything to do with the other.

Besides, where is the Christian attitude towards those less fortunate. Christian charity is becoming just something for “Sunday Talkers” those who go to church on Sunday and talk about helping those less fortunate.
