From what I can determine, it’s showing Duffy passing Wally and forging ahead while mutts are falling around them. Duffy is sacrificing himself, it seems. He’s putting his life at risk so the others can make it.

Marx never said that he’s gotta get a new Wally because they fail. There are Wallys throughout the realities in play, I expect. It’s a neverending battle.

  3. 5 days ago on Endtown

That looks like an elbow in the lower right of the last panel. There are casualties.

  4. 5 days ago on Endtown

He’s running through them shooting the ones that are immediately threatening people, like the one right in front of Wally. He’s been shooting others in his path, like the one in the mud behind him in the last panel.

We don’t know that. The only thing we know is that Duffy had always died before, according to Marx. Terrence could have thrown the zero gun to someone else in his absence, or been close enough to use it himself.

  6. 7 days ago on Endtown

I wondered that, but decided the “beams” represent bullet paths.

  7. 8 days ago on Endtown

The gun’s mind is a plasticized human brain, or at least a portion. Its intelligence isn’t artificial.

  8. 14 days ago on Endtown

As reanimated dead people, MUTTS are basically zombies.

  9. 15 days ago on Endtown

Everyone’s going by Ravenscroft’s word about the dynamics of being a Chosen One. The Eden Project grabbed the people who looked most like the characters in the comic, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they were the right ones or had any special destiinies.

Possibly. Human Alan could be the alternate version of Cardoodle Alan, and his human relatives could be alternate versions of the elephant’s relatives. Those who were sleeping could have been grexed to match species.
