The 30 year avg. temp. for today, where I live, is 45 degrees. Todayā€™s high is 29, with snow expected tonight. Yesterdayā€™s high was 23. Iā€™m thinking of moving Dixie to Ecuador. :)

I donā€™t buy the ā€˜cave dwellerā€™ story that the yankee govt. sellsā€¦I think Osama is hiding in a large city. In Karachi, for exampleā€¦collateral damage there would be internationally unacceptable, & besides, weā€™re trying to be friendly with Pakistan. Cā€™mon, peopleā€¦.WAKE UP!!!:)

I love the deficit. You yankees are thieves & arsonists, baby-rapers, killers, & generally an unkind type of folk. All that grave-robbing by Sherman should be applied to the federal debt now. FREE THE SOUTH.

Warrior77 ā€¦I side with liberals? What? Perhaps you should actually READ my posts. Iā€™m basically libertarian, though I recognize the need for SOME rules. I list my political affiliation as SOUTHERN NATIONALIST. See the League of the South for more definition on that (dixienet.com). As far as my flag is concernedā€¦if you donā€™t like it, thatā€™s too bad. My gr-gr-grandfather was captured twice fighting for that flag, & wound up doing 1 1/2 years in Gratiot Street Prison in St. Louis for it (1864-65). He had one brother who died in hospital in MIssissippi & another who deserted from Port Hudson, La., & was never heard from again. Iā€™m not sure you really understand my flag, or what it means.

Jaeā€™daā€¦in regard to your thoughts on extremismā€¦I think itā€™s good to remember that the political spectrum is a circle. Going too far either way winds up in basically the same bad place. In regard to, ā€œpolicing our craziesā€™,ā€¦ummmā€¦one manā€™s (or womanā€™s) terrorist is another oneā€™s freedom fighter. Who are these ā€˜craziesā€™ that we are policing? I, for one need more definition on thatā€¦& why are we policing them?

Grazerā€¦the methane gas in bovine flatulence is said to be a great contributor to the greenhouse gasses that eat away the ozoneā€¦in fact, in New Zealand, the loonies have passed a tax on cattlemen based on their cowsā€™ flatulence. In this country, we spent millions of dollars over 20 years or so @ the University of Texas to study the possible practical applications of the methane in COW FARTSā€¦are you laughing yet? The funniest part isā€¦ITā€™S TRUE. Ugh. PFFFT.

Yā€™knowā€¦I enjoyed reading these comments at first. I really enjoy all the comics. But I am so disgusted by what I read in here, sometimesā€¦here is a paste of something I wrote about 5 minutes ago, after reading some other chatterā€¦ ā€œboth extreme sides of the political spectrum have shown a lack of respect to opposing views.ā€ - This is the most truth Iā€™ve read in these ā€˜commentsā€™ since I began reading them earlier this month. The Democrats hate the Republicans, & vice-versaā€¦I suppose they just enjoy hating each other. But heyā€¦lookā€¦.THE TWO PARTY SYSTEM IS CORRUPT. In fact, to quote Dr. Michael Hill, ā€œThe federal regime is a corrupt criminal enterpriseā€. What we need here are solutions. Making fun of ā€˜the other sideā€™ solves nothing, though I suppose itā€™s some fun for weak-minded folks. - By the way, I REALLY like this one. Hilarious! :)
