I don’t have a lot of control over the vacuous brain-blurbs coming out of Congress but I sure can control who I ‘friend’. It’s your own fault if you’re reading vacuous brain-blurbs on Facebook! Get new ‘friends’!!!
I LOVE the third panel. It reminds me that Danae is a child, standing there on the bed with her little bare feet – a precocious, cynical little beast, but nevertheless a child. And the expressions on their faces… priceless.
I still remember the smell of the first library that my Mother took me to more than 50 years ago – the smell of adventure and old books. Those who love libraries will NEVER be bored. Thanks, Wiley!
Gee. No one has mentioned e-readers. I’m finding that the younger generation has actually become more interested in reading with the new technology. It’s kind of hard to have a book signing, though…
Reminds me of the Designing Women episode where Julia Sugarbaker annihilates Ray Don(the lounge lizard) in a restaurant and he, of course, turns up later to audit her business. Priceless.
And, now, back to the comic strip… They’re free to sit around, have a drink and discuss politics. Not all bad. Life does, indeed, go on.
