rvernon – True, the Koch brothers were not “in the news” until last year. I can recall the WTF reaction to a NPR broadcast and hearing that Coke was pouring vast sums into republican campaigns. Then I looked it up and found my error. I just think that others may have come away with the Coke-Koch confusion.
The strip and comments are using “Coke”, which is incorrect. I also thought people were talking about the Coca Cola company, but the actual name and villians are “Koch” – pronounced like Coke. Here’s a reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koch_Industries.
