    I’m aware of the quote from “When Harry Met Sally”, but I don’t get the connection here. Are we to infer that the starred horse is having a better time ? It actually looks the opposite.

    My cable company recently had a tiff with the FOX affiliate and I couldn’t get FOX for about two months. I broke out the rabbit ears to watch Monday night football and was surprised to find out I could get about 40 over-the-air channels with the antenna.

    The island castaway is a common trope in comics, and I think Deering just noticed they are usually drawn in a fashion where they resemble Lincoln. But then again, that could have been portrayed in a single panel, so I think the sequence has to be relevant, but I haven’t a clue.
