Well, as of a few months ago, Goodreads is no longer connected to Amazon. I liked it when they were because it helped me keep track. And I could also list not just e-books on it. I can’t use this thru my Kindle anymore but I can get into it on my phone and my Lenovo tablet.

I love both broccoli and brussels sprouts. Always have, even when I was younger.

We’re in Kannapolis, NC and it didn’t get that dark at all. Just like a cloudy, rainy day here.

My Mom had a button tin that I loved playing with. When she died I tryed to find it. Never did. I think my late brother must have thrown it out before I got up there’

We lived in an old (over 200yrs) house that had no fireplaces anymore. It was that way when my parents bought it. I remember asking my mother how Santa got in. And she assured me that she let him in. I don’t remember it ever coming up with my 2 (46yrs and 49yrs) when they were younger.

Growing up the tree went up the day after Thanksgiving. And came down on New Years Day. And it was always a real tree. My older sister (7 yrs) was really strick about no Christmas music, etc. before Thanksgiving. I don’t think my Mom cared. After I was married (1972) it was pretty much the same for me. My husband’s birthday is the 15th. And our oldest was born on Christmas day. So we usually had her birthday with her Dad’s. It worked for both of them. Our youngest daughter ( OK, we only had 2 kids) and I share a birthday (July 23rd)).

My husband and I (both USAF) lived in East Anglia back in the early 70’s (72-76). That’s where I found Doctor Who & Are You Being Served?. I’ve been watching a show called Time Team on Amazon Prime. Tony Robinson from Blackadder is on that.
