I was a Steve and Garry fan later on. I used to keep a radio/cassette player in the car at work to record their show while working so I could listen later. I would have to go out every 45 minutes or so and flip or change the tape. Ah, the good old days!
What book can’t Batiuk or Davis get? Where are these burnings they are trying to represent. I remember CDs being burned in Chicago back in ’79, but that was Disco so was it all right?
If a book is removed from an elementary school library because it gives tutorials on oral sex it is removed because it is inappropriate for the setting or the age group of the users. It is not a banned book. You can buy it and read it to your own child as a bedtime story if you want. Penthouse magazines were not in elementary school libraries either, but they were not banned magazines. You can again read them to your own children, just not anyone else’s.
