   I remember my late Mom telling me a story about a farmer who wound up shooting and killing three black bears that were stealing his stooks aka a group of sheaves of grain stood on end in a field to make a den. The man skinned, gutted, and preserved the meat and fat from all three bears. Mom said the wife used the bear fat for cooking and baking and it took her 5 years to use it all up.

   Oh, no! Dear sweet Sophie is going to be turned into a show cat and that means having kittens! Hopefully, she will be rescued before that happens!

   My late Mom did the same as well as got as many pamphlets on the matter. In Grade 6, our female teacher had all the girls see a film about it while the boys saw the same film, but with a male teacher. Mothers were invited to show up. My Mom was the only mother that did.

   I read about using vinegar on sunburns. I did that when I had one. It stung for a minute and then it stopped. I also applied Vaseline aka Petroleum Jelly on it. My sunburn was gone within a day.

   I have an extremely bad feeling that those people who took dear sweet Sophie have some really really bad plans for her! Hopefully, dear sweet Sophie will be rescued in time and those people taken care of!

   {{{HUGS}}} Sadly, that is so very true. It was the same for my Mom and her sisters and brother when they had to send their Dad to a care facility when he was 91 years old. Grandpa Steve passed two years later, but he like it there.

   Sadly, that is similar to what was happening to our late Mom. She was not eating enough and the two Home Care Nurses were the ones who noticed and suggested Mom go into a care home. That is when the painful decision was made to send our Mom to the Shoal Lake Care Home in Shoal Lake, Manitoba, Canada. I will be going to her Memorial on June 30th.
