Not at all a failure- he found out he doesn’t like running (neither do I!).A real experiment doesn’t fail just because you didn’t get the results you were hoping for. There’s always something to be learned.
Old restaurant trick- trim and peel the onions and put them in a large pot filled with really cold water as you go before cutting them up. Other ideas- keep the bowl you put the chopped onions into covered with a damp towel and clear the cut onions off the cutting board frequently. And a fan blowing from behind you to push the cut onion vapors away from you (or in a nearby window, blowing out). Anything to reduce the concentration of onion vapors in the air around you.
I know what he means, but he already did- mitochondrial DNA comes totally through the mother. Had a brief existential crisis when I learned this, but there it is!
EVERYBODY wants a review. Dentists, doctors’ offices, restaurants, retail stores, Amazon, anything online. It’s too easy (undoubtedly fully automated), they clog up my email and messages. I’m already wasting too much of my time just looking at them to find out what they are.
So no. Spam folder for the emails (“Unsubscribe” never works) and delete the messages. Get off my lawn!!
Chiropractor here. You’re all correct. Knees are narrower than hips. When lying on your side, with the lower leg more or less perpendicular to the pelvis, the upper leg has to lie on the lower leg or on the bed, making the angle with the hip more than otherwise. This puts a strain on the lateral hip muscles, which pulls on the sacroiliac, which pulls on the lower back. Since women’s hips tend to be wider than men’s this can be more of a problem (although the normal hip/thigh angle is normally greater in women, so it’s not much more strain then men’s than you might think). Knee pillows reduce the angle, reducing the strain. I often recommend knee pillows. The Contour pillow works great, as it stays twixt the knees much better than a regular pillow, even when turning over.
How ‘bout this? Ludwig moved to his right and sat down on the step. Out of the shadow cast by Arlo or the wall into the dim light that is lighting up A & J and casting that shadow. This seems to be JJ’s device to allow us to focus on A&J talking in panel #1 and then focus on Ludwig in panel #4.
And that’s how to handle laundry after a trip…
