So much excitement today that our cartoonists get away with misspelling “independent” — or is that intentional to suggest Ms. Lane is a truly stupid filmmaker?
Can someone refresh me on why Tabby Angus rode out to Joe Montana’s radio station and got himself on the air? And why is the engineer at the station apparently continuing the “live” broadcast of the current interruption?
Two misspellings on the same day? Lazurus (Lazarus?) and the apostrophe in panel three, which should come after the “s” if it is the name of the Little Orphan Annie tycoon?
Such perceptive comments always about the artwork and character placements — so scripters: let’s not flub here — in Panel One, “Mumble’s” should have the apostrophe after the final s. (Some grammarians would also approve writing the possessive of a noun ending in s "Mumbles’s.)
Is there a difference between a landside and a landslide, or is that just another hasty misspelling in panel #2?
