His accomplishments include… steering the economy out of the ditch, appointing moderate non-crazies to the Supreme Court, passing the first major improvement to healthcare since Medicare, winding down two stupid wars, and erasing Osama Bin Laden. So grow up, my friends.
Ebert got a lot of things wrong… e.g. his script for Valley of the Dolls. But he got most things right, and was a fine writer and brave soul. Citizen Kane is a good story and a good movie and I’m still a Rall fan. Next case.
