It is a common wish for many of us in the midst of a busy and harried day to feel rather haggard and wish we could substitute our lives for the seemingly bucolic life most of us try very hard to provide for our pets…. be they dog, cat, or some other species. When life feels cumbersome, we all envy a simpler, more tranquil lifestyle of simply DOING what comes naturally.

I can understand your reasoning. To my manner of thinking, however….. I would much prefer Brad and Toni either adopt Shannon and have a family that way, b) have a pregnancy and birth that mostly occurs behind the scenes and we have the new kid being part of the family and the fun that would then encourage, or c) both.

I am not trying to be a curmudgeon, but I have to admit I have grown weary of the many television shows and comics and movies that have long, extended focus on GETTING pregnant. BEING pregnant, and GIVING birth.

And, of course those things are important to create a family…… but it is so (IMO) so saturated a topic of late, that it is kind of boring. And, truthfully I am tired here of an overly large focus in the comments of the reproductive behavior of Brad and Toni….. I say, give them more of a full life role….. work and family and friends….. not just their sexual activities.

Hah! I know what you mean! I went to a cigar lounge one time and used my Zippo. Got some odd looks. The place I’ve gone to has the torch style available for use and I have to admit they are probably nicer for a cigar after trying one.

  4. 7 days ago on Bozo

    1. Hmm. I feel rather chagrined for Bozo…. being given an exploding cigar. How very unfriendly of the cop. I am just glad Bozo somehow knew better. Probably he could tell it was not quite up-to-snuff by an odd flavor.

    2. Could it be that Bozo is hiding the fact that he may be rather myopic?!?! I can only imagine he thought the object was a duck or some other such avian food item. But, the accidental shooting down of the kid’s plane….. even if Bozo does not want the moniker of “four eyes”…. he better reconsider and get a pair of glasses.

    3. Hmm. I wonder if it is wintertime where Bozo is at? I say this because I bought my wife a balloon as part of the packaging and decorations for the Valentine’s gift I am giving her (unfortunately, when I suggested a few weeks ago that I could be her Valentine’s gift, she quickly steered me along a different path). While driving home with the balloon, it being only around 10 degrees (F) here, the balloon quickly crenated and shrank. I hid it in the basement until this morning, and the warmth of the house had it regain its former size and firmness. Perhaps if Bozo gives the balloon he placed in the hat box a few minutes to warm back up, things will be ok.

Today’s artistry has me believing that Mr. Reardon has wanted us to focus here on the various properties of physics. Inertia, random motion, vibratory effect, change in phase of matter, and many other principles have been highlighted.

That was philosophically deeper than I was anticipating today. Bravo!

This seems a bit strange for the arc….. there must be more to the story.

  7. 7 days ago on Luann

To be truthful, the “Brad & Toni alone “sexy” time” panels seem to be overly often presented in my opinion. Of course a young married couple would be regularly intimate. But, seeing it drawn so often (in terms of the percentage of times we actually see the couple) is getting a tad redundant.

I have gotten to the point now where I actually “secretly cheer” when Shannon ends up interrupting the couple’s “in-bed” scenes…. just so the story moves on somewhere.

  8. 7 days ago on Luann

The marriage isn’t fragile. But….. in the greater scheme of things VALENTINES DAY itself would not be the most prolific or productive day to go through all the details about how the cake-pops came to be.

That story is better left for a few days or weeks in the future, where it can then be a funny story for Brad to share with Toni…. emphasizing the choice of “lovingly crafted by Brad” as proclaimed by TJ. In this way, there can be two different ways to enjoy the situation.

We are completely left hanging concerning PeeWee?!?!?!?!

Wait, do not say that out loud….. if PeeWee hears it……… uh.
