I get that. But…. the “baby machinations” are the ONLY thing they have been really shown doing for the last several years of comics it seems to me. It is TIRING now and is too ONE NOTE in my opinion.

Her Grandpa must have LOVED making money… in order to retire early. At least in 2025.

  3. 1 day ago on Bliss

The dog is NOT amused at the cat’s verbosity. Yet, this time I am in agreement with the cat…. grammar and vocabulary are valuable. Give that cat a catnip cigar!

  4. 1 day ago on Gasoline Alley

Mutt traditionally has smoked cigars or pipes, especially when others are yammering on. I think Mutt should pull out a cigar or pipe while the fellow has his discourse with Walt.

Honestly….. I am at the point where I simply CRINGE involuntairly when the arc is featuring Brad and Toni now.

The ONLY arc(s) they ever seem to have anymore are “baby”. Either Brad and Toni are a) talking about a potential baby, b) talking about not wanting a potential baby, c) having implied sex with an intent or lack of intent to potentially produce a baby, d) watching Shannon in order to be INFLUENCED positively or negatively in a) or b) or c) above.

They (Brad and Toni) USED to be far more interesting characters with MANY DIFFERENT story arcs. Now, the two of them have become basically uni-directional, having only one….. repetitive to me….. arc….. over and over again.

Do not get me wrong…. having a kid or kids is GREAT. I have several. But, I really would prefer there to be a bit more of a balance in what Brad and Toni are represented to “do” in these comics. It used to be interesting/exciting when the arc would switch to Brad or Toni or both of them…. because there were a WHOLE BUNCH of different possibilities….. including SOMETIMES (not ALL the time) talking about a baby.

TJ is definitely the bright spot for today’s panels.

I hate to admit this is close to a d@mn truism for me.

  8. 1 day ago on F Minus

Hmm. Seems that this should be the line spoken on d@mn near every podcast, and a whole helluva lot of television and radio “news” agencies. So LITTLE actual news in most places….. just a bunch of talking heads flustering and blustering their OPINION about something. I miss the old news style of real newspapers and CBS with Walter Cronkite. There, OPINIONS were in the written or verbal EDITORIAL pages….. and not the whole of what they talk about.

I find it very nice that Tabby enjoys Mr. Mackles…. even if not his humor.

Is Jeff a “Teacup Wolf” because he is short? :)
