I remember eating blackberry jam, and the little drupelets appearance in the gently home-made product prompted me to call the tasty stuff ant-body jam. Yum! Colorful and tasty!
Plastic bag bans in the United StatesThere is no national plastic bag fee or ban currently in effect in the United States. However, the states of California, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Maine, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Vermont, and Washington, and the territories of American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, United States Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico have banned disposable bags. Additionally, the Colorado General Assembly passed a law banning disposable bags in Colorado which will take effect in 2024. Over 200 counties and municipalities have enacted ordinances either imposing a fee on plastic bags or banning them outright, including all counties in Hawaii. Some attempts at banning plastic shopping bags statewide have not succeeded mainly due to plastic industry lobbying. A few jurisdictions have chosen to implement a fee-only approach to bag reduction such as Washington, D.C., Montgomery County, Maryland, and certain counties in Virginia.
They aren’t allowed where I live!
I dislike paying for paper bags, but they do come in handy for collecting recycles in…
Hahahaha, yes, I’ve found myself looking for the clock at the top left of a real, paper book, and also trying to tap the right side of the page to turn it.
That’s when I decided it was WAY past time to up my real book intake and limit my ebook perusals. =^___^=
What is your reasoning for that judgement? (insert curious raised eyebrow face here)
There may be no devil, but there is evil.
I find the use of the touch screen on my 5th generation iPad to be quite intuitive; I’m quite spoiled at being able to clearly pinpoint what I want to do — scroll, click, hit the back arrow, use the drop down menu, etc. etc. etc. that seems clunky once I try to womanhandle my tower computer with a mouse…not to mention the idyllic capability of being able to put the screen where it’s most comfortable to gaze upon.
I’d LIKE to go somewhere overseas, but that will probably never happen.
Takes $$$.
