   When I worked for American Greetings a lady once griped to me that the price of the card was more than they spent for the present. I thought they (especially if there was a group that went in together to buy the gift) must’ve been cheapos. The card was $3.50.

   So typical. He got to retire but she never did. Still has to do laundry, cook, clean the house while he expects to do nothing and if she asks him to do one tiny measly thing he acts like he’s being abused.

   Ok one last comment on the abortion issue. Why are these couples (both man and woman since it takes two to conceive a baby!) not using some form of birth control so they don’t become pregnant in the first place? I know some forms of birth control fail but to use nothing means it will always fail. Before going into the bedroom to make love, ask yourselves, do we want a baby now? if the answer is no, prevent conception! Go on the pill, go to the drugstore, or abstain. A woman’s cycle is not that hard to figure out. In every other area of life we are more prudent but in this people are too careless. And an innocent baby is murdered.
