SWEETBILL and Llewellenbruce,
Burro is NOT a mule. Mules are sterile offspring of the union between a donkey (or, if it speaks Spanish, a Burro)
and a horse. Chickens new friend is a Burro (a donkey of Hispanic persuasion). It may not seem important to you, but it makes a great deal of difference to a Donkey, since mules are sterile!
Definitely a Donkey and, if male, a Jackass. No need for Astrix here, that is a legitimate usage. In the real world the donkey is smarter than cows or chickens by a long way, and roughly as smart as a horse. It should be noted how ever that a donkeys intelligence is extremely oriented to donkey welfare and not too interested in chicken problems.
Fiction reflecting real life? Panel four speaks to me with the voice of Ghost Past! When sent from Business Law to Study Hall, and forwarded to the Office, I was told “I don’t care where you go, you can’t stay here!” I always took it as a point of pride that I was the only person that I had heard of who was kicked out of the office!
Any word about Sheik Yerbouti?
AAAHHH!!! I remember it well! My attitude wasn’t considered appropriate in ‘45 either and not only had Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs not been invented yet, Congress had not postured and pandered “,under God,” into the pledge! Much has changed in the world, but hypocritical politics still thrives!
Does anyone know what has happened to Sheik Yerbouti?
I have not seen a posting from him for several days, and am growing concerned! I have always enjoyed his wit and wisdom.
Not the internal combustion engine. It’s the screw. Of course you’re are young yet, but at least learn this one thing Calvin. Of the four simple machines, the screw will be the most important for most of your life. Long before (and long after) it is foremost in your life, it will be foremost in your mind.
Sheik, She is following in the footsteps of the Tea Bags before her. A good ‘ol boy likes his women Fauxy, but doesn’t want one that makes him look dumb. That makes for a limited pool of choices.
This one is showing Saraesque qualities.
