   Compared to many, many people in real life, Arbuckle has it all together.

   Rain instead of snow is the opposite of a bummer.By Feb most of us are sick of winter and would gladly welcome an early spring.

   I think the brought Lyman back on The Garfield Show.I have not seen that episode but saw it referenced some place.

   I remember Grandpa saying “Garfield, you come from a long line of bachelors.”

   FWIW I enjoyed The Garfield Movie more than Garfield The Movie if for no other reason that Garfield looks like Garfield. I hope we will get a sequel that focuses on characters from the comic strip.

   It is just a pet peeve of mine any time a movie gets made about an established property that rather than drawing on the lore of the property they write an entirely new story unrelated to the history of the character.

   I suspect the main reason for this is most Hollywood script writers have never read the comics, books and other properties they adapt in to movies.

    Anyone else wish The Garfield Movie had concentrated on him and his mom instead of inventing his dad?

    It was OK but I would have preferred if they had stuck closer to the lore from the comic strip.
