And the point of this week of old grandpa confusing his paranoid delusions caused by senility as actual flashbacks?

Poncho would have better luck going online and organizing a flash mob of dogs to help him than what he’s getting from the dogs at the cafe.

Aren’t those two dogs the ones who kidnapped Poncho and put him on trial for BS reasons of getting too cozy with cats?

Hillbillyman; given that Carmen and Poncho have lived as long as they have together, why not do an extended arc of the two learning to live together while Chaz is in the hospital? Especially since it could make for a good story arc and give Carmen some added character development in terms of why she puts up with Poncho.

Is it wrong for me to wish the following is how the rest of this storyline plays out? The Pooch Cafe dogs end up chasing after Chaz, causing him to get into an accident and ends up hospitalized. Poncho is then stuck with Carmen for several weeks as despite his disdain for her, Carmen manages to reach out to Poncho and the two bond. Chaz comes home, ready to leave (because he realizes Poncho is right, though by this point, Poncho and Carmen have settled their differences) and we get Carmen/Poncho teaming up to save Carmen’s relationship with Chaz……

Oh dear god, Chaz REALLY doesn’t get it does he?
What’s next? Chaz declaring that Poncho has to get neutered, because he thinks “fixing” Poncho will further his relationship with Carmen?

Poncho needs to have:
Chaz stop being an a-hole and put his pet’s feelings ahead of his desire to rush into a relationship with Carmen
Carmen needs to woman up and go out of her way to do something GOOD for Poncho, that isn’t half-assed like the picnic.
Maybe we should have this angle of the Year One storyline be a fake-out: Chaz tries to steamroll his way into Carmen’s bed via moving in with her within a couple of days of knowing her but Carmen, in her infinite wisdom, forces Chaz back to his crummy apartment until he gets Poncho fully adjusted to a life living with Carmen and the cats.
The actual move-in date of the couple is moved off for a couple of months and Chaz gets a couple of months to learn how to be a GOOD owner to Poncho and not force his bleeep upon Poncho. Not to mention Carmen’s actions causing Poncho to gain respect for Carmen and make him more willing to move in with her once Chaz is properly housebroken as a dog owner.

Carmen REALLY needs to woman up and do something GOOD for Poncho. Between her not putting the breaks upon Chaz wanting to move in with her after they just met, to the picnic debacle, she needs to make a major gesture to get Poncho to at least tolerate her.
Maybe she should take all of her cats to be spayed/neutered and let Poncho watch as the poor cats lose their ability to procreate? Sick, but i could see Poncho watching with glee as he snacks on a bag of popcorn as the cats get fixed…

While most of Poo Poo’s storylines are depressing given his lot in life as a purse pet, getting stalked by a drooling admirer, and being submerged in tar and having the occasional psychotic break from reality, I’m loving this one.
It’s great to see Poo Poo (hopefully purposely) messing with Poncho’s head and not being made to feel inadaquate about himself….
Can’t Dru show up and stop the flashbacks by showing up and demanding someone tell her where Poo is? I’d rather see them show up and us getting an early adventure of their courtship than sit through another week of “Senile Old Dog Makes Stuff Up”.
