   Sure sorry to hear that. I have enjoyed your work and will miss it. You and Jon Stewart of the Daily Show were two sites I never missed a day without viewing and now you are both gone in the same month, at least regards new material. I’m sure it was great news for the stuffed shirts of the world, but bad news for the rest of us.

   Burger King’s new motto after moving to a foreign county to shift taxes to everyone else should be: “We’re having it our way. We weren’t satisfied with just destroying America’s health. We’re greedy, selfish, unpatriotic, unfair, tax dodging, lying, cheaters and we want to have it our way on that too.”

   Have you ever noticed that the motivation for almost the entire current agenda of the Republican party seems to boil down to just Hate, Fear and/or Greed?

   My newspaper, the Oregonian, deliberately chose to block the current Doonesbury story line. The cowardly editors of the decidedly Republican editorial board did not like the pro women’s health, pro choice viewpoint of the strip. Interestingly, shortly thereafter, one of those same editors (a married white male) died while having sex he routinely paid for with a young unmarried female student 40 years his junior. The Oregonian initially reported that he had died elsewhere and praised his marriage. The paper had to retract that when the truth came out, but they have not retracted their ban of the current Doonesbury and will not do so long as it continues to reveal what old white males are doing to young females.
